Benefits of Having the Fear of the LORD (1)

Psalms 111:5 "He gave food to those who fear him, He remembered to keep his ancient promise." MSG

Point to ponder on: God is a covenant keeping God, He is faithful regardless of time and meets the need of those who fear Him.

To fear the LORD is to reverently obey His word and to treat every sacred thing with a humble and contrite heart. You have not seen God with your naked eyes but you have read His word and with the same word we will all be judged. How you treat God's word is a proof whether you fear Him or not. Any act of disobedience to God's word or dishonour to sacred things is a show that the fear of the LORD is lacking. This fear of the LORD doesn't make us to fidget before Him but rather produce humility and awe in us to confidently depend on Him and reach out to Him. God takes note of those who fear Him and He will reward them accordingly. Let us search the scriptures together and find out some benefits you stand to gain when you fear the Lord.

Benefits(Ps.111:5)
1.He will not allow you to go hungry.This comes in two folds that spiritually those who fear God are fed with the spiritual truth from the revelation of the word of God so that there shall never be any hunger of the spirit not fed by the revelation of God's word and likewise the provision for physical food.
2.He supplies your needs. Both spiritual and physical food are basic needs of a believer and those who fear Him have nothing to worry about because He will supply their needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
3.He is committed to keeping His long established covenant with you. God will fulfil every promise in His word concerning you as a believer who fears Him.

From the scripture above we can see three benefits and we shall find out more as we dig deeper into the Holy scriptures. It pays to fear the LORD by reverently obeying His word fully.

To fear the Lord requires that the spirit of the fear of the Lord rests upon you, so pray for an impartation. I pray that the spirit of the fear of the Lord will rest upon you as it was on Christ Jesus as revealed by the prophecy of Isaiah 11:1-2 in Jesus name.

Psalm 112:1-3 "Praise you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that delights greatly in his commandments. His descendants shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endures forever.

Point to ponder on: A person who fears the LORD is a blessed person.

What will the fear of the LORD do for you?
1. The fear of the Lord makes you a blessed person. You receive a divine enabling to attract blessings and  prosper in all you do because 'the blessing of God' rests upon your life.

2.The blessing rubs on your children and spiritual children and that of generations to come, they shall be robust and great upon the earth. The blessing extends because of your fear of the LORD that makes you upright before Him.

3.The blessing attracts wealth and riches and the righteous life you live remains for life.

It pays to fear the LORD(reveres, worships and obeys His word) let us teach our children and the young ones to do same. As we worship and obey Him in everything we do this week, His blessing will attract good tidings to us in Jesus name.

344 Chinese Pastors Sign a Statement Defending Their Faith amid Violent Persecution

In the midst of the Chinese government tightening its controls over religious communities in the communist country, 344 pastors have signed a statement standing up to the regime.

According to the St. Charles Institute, a group of 344 pastors – with the list growing daily – have signed a public joint statement titled "A Declaration of the Christian Faith."

The statement begins with the pastors asserting that they are both Chinese and Christians and that they have been ordained by God to serve as pastors. The letter reads, "We are a group of Chinese Christians, chosen by the Most High God to be His humble servants, serving as pastors for Christian churches throughout various towns and cities."

The statement continues, "We believe and are obligated to teach the world that the one true and living Triune God is the Creator of the universe, of the world, and of all people. All men should worship God and not any man or thing. We believe and are obligated to teach the world that all men, from national leaders to beggars and prisoners, have sinned. They will die once and then be judged in righteousness. Apart from the grace and redemption of God, all men would eternally perish. We believe and are obligated to teach the world that the crucified and risen Jesus is the only Head of the global church, the sole Savior of all mankind, and the everlasting Ruler and Supreme Judge of the universe. To all who repent and believe in Him, God will give eternal life and an eternal Kingdom."

The statement goes on speaking directly to the Chinese government in a numbered list of four key points. The pastors assert that “Christian churches in China believe unconditionally that the Bible is the Word and Revelation of God.”

“Christian churches in China are eager and determined to walk the path of the cross of Christ and are more than willing to imitate the older generation of saints who suffered and were martyred for their faith.”

“Christian churches in China are willing to obey authorities in China whom God has appointed and to respect the government's authority to govern society and human conduct.”

Finally, the group exclaims that for the above-mentioned reasons, they “believe and are obligated to teach all believers that all true churches in China that belong to Christ must hold to the principle of the separation of church and state and must proclaim Christ as the sole head of the church.”

The statement concludes with the pastors declaring that they will not back down or accept bans or fines even if it means losing their freedom or their lives.

Washington is now taking an interest in the religious persecution in China and according to CBN News, a meeting has been set by House Representatives to learn more about the injustices and to determine a course of action. 

US Rep. Chris Smith said, "Burning Bibles, destroying churches, and jailing Muslims by the million is only part of the Chinese Communist Party's audaciously repressive assault on conscience and religion.  Taking a hammer and sickle to the cross is a good way to create bipartisan consensus for a tougher U.S. stance towards China.”

"Nevertheless, a strong U.S. response and leadership is needed to confront this evil because Beijing's external aggression emanates from its internal repression," he continued. "This hearing will look at Xi Jinping's efforts to sinicize religion in China and delve deeper into increasing pressure on the fast-growing Protestant 'house church' movement and the announced agreement between the Holy See and Beijing."

Point to ponder on: You are no longer under the terror of the devil and his cohorts; you are now operating with Christ at a higher level far above the devil.

I pray the Holy Spirit to enlighten the heart of your understanding so that you can always beyond mental consent see yourself no matter the circumstance of life in your elevated place of power and dominion and fully act in your capacity in Christ Jesus.

Every power of darkness has been degraded to bow to your authority in Christ Jesus and therefore, can no longer dominate you. You are no longer to be terrorised by any power of darkness because you now rule with Christ in the spirit realm. This, Christ has accomplished for us who have union with Him when we accepted him as our personal Lord and saviour, but if you don't see yourself in this state in the realm of the spirit and live consciously with this mindset, the devil will still take advantage of you.

Therefore, you must operate with this spiritual mindset in all circumstance you find yourself and be spiritually conscious of your position of power in Christ Jesus in order to win over the powers of darkness. Your union with Christ makes you more powerful, so stand firm in holiness, exercise your authority in Christ Jesus using the WORD when confronted by any power of darkness and they will all bow to you.

God Will Go Ahead of You and All Will Be Well

Isaiah 45:2 "I'll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I'll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances." (MSG)

Point to ponder on: Count on God's word on every step you are about to take, it's always the quality assurance for success.

God promises to prepare the way for you to have a smooth ride and deal with every obstacle on your way to your next level. He is committed to force open every gate closed against you that is preventing you from moving to that  country you desire to go, job you desire to get, business you desire to start, marriage you have long awaited, admission you have been denied. See, it doesn't matter the equipment in use in the spirit realm or in reality to shut the door against your promotion, happiness and the great dreams in your heart crying for manifestation, God is set to break down that obstacle. Hallelujah!

Therefore, raise your head up in praise for the breakthrough and the next level ahead of you. Hold on to His word regardless of the tough times. It is possible and a settled matter because God said it. Expect a turn around.

Point to ponder on: Wisdom is in action when you prepare yourself for the greater good and take advantage of the opportunities life presents to you.

According to Alice Foote MacDougall, "Success of life depends upon keeping one's mind open to opportunity and seizing it when it comes."

Only the prepared takes advantage of the opportunity that comes his or her way. Always make yourself ready.

I See You Doing Greatly

Proverb 4:18 "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day." Kjv2k

Point to ponder on: It doesn't matter the pot holes on your road to destiny there is an unveiling of a shinning path ahead of you.

So excited about your life especially because you are the redeemed of the Lord and God has credited righteousness for you who believe in Him. Now you have been justified by the resurrection of  the Lord Jesus, therefore, there is hope than ever before that tomorrow will be better than yesterday and that everyday brings in new glory because you are on the shinning path that evolves continually until the day of the LORD.

Beloved, do not settle for less because of the momentary challenges of life, they are normal things we face in life but you can be rest assured that God will make a way for you and perfect everything that concerns you. Sequel to this, as you journey in this new season, let your focus be on the greater good the LORD has in store for you and I pray in the name of Jesus you shall take a delivery of them all.
