If you really want to be successful in any area in life, inaction is your greatest enemy. Don't just talk about it, set a plan in motion and get to work, I mean massive action must be committed to hit your target. This is your life I am talking about or don't you want something far better than what you are or have now? A quality life of relevance! Nobody celebrates mediocrity and don't be afraid of failing, a person who acted and failed is better than a person who did nothing. Damn the consequence, concentrate on your goal and mind your business. Your aim is to dominate your sector and not competing with others until you get to that height called "Successful". Go ahead it is possible, this is the time to act massive.

You Can Rely On His Ability

Hebrews 7:24-25 "But Jesus lives on forever, and his work as priest does not pass on to someone else. And so he is able, now and always, to save those who come to God through him, because he lives forever to plead with God for them." GNB

Point to ponder on: Jesus lives forever to plead with God for you.

Dear friend, I want you to look at the bright side of life this new week because you can be rest assured that the one you handed over your life to the day you said the sinner's prayer lives 'for life'. He has no retirement day in His committed service to your life. His service to you is so precious to Him that He doesn't delegate it to someone else as a High Priest over your life. He had conquered death by dying and resurrected to live forever and people of His time saw him around for 40 days and He was with His disciples before ascension at Bethany as recorded in the Holy Scriptures(Acts 1:3;Luke 24:50-52). His power and wonder done in His name is a proof even to the blind, deaf, dead, the old and the young that He is well able to save. Therefore, you have no need to worry or be afraid no matter the challenge you encounter in this life.

There is a ready made help for you and this is in Christ Jesus. There is no doubt about His capacity to save from any trouble, be it self inflicted or affliction by external forces. He is well able to save at all times and anywhere. But you must not be  discouraged by delay or considering others getting result and you seem not getting your request met. Keep your relationship with Jesus glowing daily. Mind your own business and mind Jesus whom you serve. Do you know why? Jesus is the one that can do that which you or no man can't do for yourself and there is no threat to His existence and the most amazing news is that He pleads with God on your behalf. You wouldn't have come this far if Jesus has not been praying for you, so trust Him, keep hope alive and keep believing in His word, you are in a safe hand and you will laugh last and celebrate over everything that is of concern to you in Jesus name.

Whatever you desire to get in life requires your responsibility. If it is worth having then it must be worth working for. Massive action far beyond what it is considered 'just enough' is what you must put in to get what you desire. And God's grace will work for you as you pursue with great thinking and great action.

Lay Claim On It

Joshua 14:12 "So give me this hill country that God promised me. You yourself heard the report, that the Anakim were there with their great fortress cities. If God goes with me, I will drive them out, just as God said." MSG

Point to ponder on: There is a time to lay claim on what is rightfully yours, speak up and take what belongs to you.

Claiming your promised land- when sensed the battle is over and your adversaries are defeated and your promised land has not been handed over to you, it is time to lay claim(remind God of His promises). Caleb did same and it was given to him.(Josh.14:9,13-14)There were things preserved for your enjoyment but God has to take away hindrances or stronghold opposing you so that you can enjoy it when delivered to you. That is accomplished through spiritual warfare. And if there are other things to be conquered the LORD will accomplish that for you, remember the battle belongs to the LORD.

This is the time to speak up for what rightfully belongs to you in Christ Jesus. Remind Him of what He promised. He is faithful to bring it to pass at a time that will suit His purpose for your life.

The LORD will grant you everything that will beautify your destiny this season in Jesus name.

On the Road to Destiny

Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Kjv2k

Point to ponder on: Every time you reach out in life what should matter most to you is what God has told you and that should generate courage in you as you go through your life journey.

Before the promised land comes the battle-no one on this side of the planet conquers without confronting(whether physically, spiritually or psychologically). Israelites had to confront Jericho, Ai, Bethel, Anakites, etc. before capturing their promised land. There will be no winner until there is a contest for a fight. You can't win the fight without being strong and courageous. Reaching out to confront takes faith. And  in your faith lies your conviction about what God can do and also do through you. In this world we live, there is a heavy manipulation of astral power and activities of the kingdom of darkness, household wickedness, office wickedness, life challenges and circumstances beyond our human control. These are enough battles confronting mankind.  But don't be despaired, remember, you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves you. You will win! So, are you reaching out in faith today or in doubt? As you reach out to chase your dream the LORD who strategically guided Joshua to conquer will endow you with WISDOM for excellence and success in your endeavours  always in Jesus name. You are victorious already through Christ Jesus. Therefore, go and take over your promised land(destiny) in Jesus name.

Let Love Grow

1 Thessalonians 3:12 "May the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow more and more and become as great as our love for you." GNB

Point to ponder on: Love for all people is meant to grow more in you and only God can help you attain this goal as a believer.

I heard a story of a woman of God who finds it difficult to forgive people that offend her. She goes all out to ensure they are punished for offending her. This is not Christlike in anyway. A man offended her and she secretly waged war against this man by putting a car that was given to the man for repair to a halt spiritually. This car could not be repaired despite all effort by mechanics. I know it must be sounding like witchcraft to you now. I was shocked to hear this as well. She is an Evangelist but without love and vengeful. I know the heart of any natural man is evil and desperately wicked and what I have seen people do in this life has really baffled my imagination of the level of wickedness exhibited by mankind. To face the reality, people will offend us and hurt us, but a proof that we have surrendered to Christ, passed from death to life and His love reigns in our heart makes it easy and possible for us to forgive. It may take time for some depending on their spiritual growth but you will not live a love life and indefinitely not forgive people. When you don't forgive people, you hurt yourself more.

Our greatest goal should be to grow our love life as that of the apostles grew. There was a time Paul rejected John Mark and it led to his separation with Barnabas but at the later time he sent for him to join him in his missionary journey (Acts 15:36-39, 2 Ti.4:11, Phm.1:24) . Jesus wants us to settle our disagreements and allow love to dominate us and not hatred and resentment. We must make it a daily prayer like Paul prayed for the Thessalonian Church to ask the Lord to make our love grow for all people. This is the only way we can endure to the end in this race and at this time when selfishness, wickedness and individual interest are on the rise.

I pray the Lord will make your love grow more for all people: your spouse, friends, children, neighbour, your country, enemies and sinners in Jesus name.

Loving The Sincere Way

Loving The Sincere Way

Philippians 1:9-10 "So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover's life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of." MSG

Point to ponder on: Loving the sincere way involves learning under the great tutor-God who is love personified.

How glorious will our fruits be in the body of Christ if we truly love the brethren. Brethren are standing against their fellow in public places in the name of self righteousness and selfishness. Doctrines have divided the body instead of building it. Individual interest is far esteemed than Christ's interest. Instead of operating in wisdom working intellectually to increase the kingdom people are busy competing for recognition and seeking vain glory to boost their ego.

1.Loving the right way does mean that your brain is not suspended from detecting the positive or negative things about others but you are able to intellectually handle such and deal with them the way Christ would.

2.Loving the right way also involves the ability to differentiate between sensual and a heartfelt affection from a pure heart that is worthy of emulation and pleasing to Christ.

We are not yet perfect in love, we are all still growing regardless of our spiritual growth,  God's desire is for us to grow daily and flourish in love. When this happens, we make Jesus proud. The more we grow in love the more of God is revealed in us because God is love.
