What Only Leaders Can Do

The unique quality that all leaders have in
common is that they have a clear and
exciting vision for the future.
This is something that only the leader can do.
Only the leader can think about the future
and plan for the future each day. The followers or subordinates won't do this for the leader, therefore, the leader must be proactive and develop a clear vision.

A Leader Develops A Clear Vision

An Excellent leader will do the following:
1. Takes the time to think
through and develops a clear picture of
where he or she wants the organization to be in
one, three, five and ten years.
2.Communicates this vision in such a
way that others "buy in" and eventually see
the vision as belonging to them.

This is what only you as a leader can do, therefore, push the vision across and make it clear enough for your followers to see clearly the picture of where you are leading them to.

As a leader your ultimate goal must be to be  successful in all your endeavours, hence, make success your duty, obligation and responsibility.

Keep Away From Idol

MEDITATION

1 John 5:21 "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols." NIV

Point to ponder on: Get rid of every form of idolatry.

It is expedient that we are scripturally sensible and spiritually sensitive so that we can discern those acts that are idolatry and against the Word of God.

Any devotion to a thing or someone that makes you unconsciously or consciously worship (give honour to such) as a god is idolatry. Celebrities or heroes/heroines or icons have been worshipped as gods by many of their followers in ignorance.

Moreover, you do not need any image sculpted and placed somewhere in your house to be involved in idolatry. Every act of immorality, impurity and greed is idolatry.
"No immoral, impure or greedy person-- such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Eph.5:5-NIV "For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain]–for he [in effect] is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."Eph.5:5-AMP
Take note, no one with these acts has inheritance in the kingdom of God. In keeping away from idol, we must not partner with those involved in these acts as well. "Do not let anyone deceive you with foolish words; it is because of these very things that God's anger will come upon those who do not obey him. So have nothing at all to do with such people." Eph. 5:6-7-GNB

The Lord will open your eyes to every form of idol in your life in Jesus name.

No Shame To Those Who Look Up To Him

MEDITATION

Psalm 34:5 "Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame."NIV

Point to ponder on: If your trust is in Jesus when in trouble, you can be certain that you won't be put to shame.

King David's victory in his ordeal with life is a proof of God's faithfulness, goodness and encouragement for every believer in Christ. God delivered him from all his fears and helped him overcome his adversaries crowning him with victory on every side. He experienced and wrote of the benefits of looking up to God in adversity. He never lost any battle because he looked up to God and was never put to shame. He never embarked on any battle without God's consent. And following God all through he had a record of a king who never lost any battle. His story is our encouragement today, and his testimonies are our prophecies. Take note, looking up to God is trusting in God and it brings joy and not shame. It is the joy that comes from trusting in the LORD that makes us appear bright and shinning without worrying. Therefore, make it a practice to always look up to the LORD who knows tomorrow better than you do, understands the past and sees clearly what is in today, and your story will be more colourful with joy in Jesus name.

The process towards success in your endeavours starts with a burning desire fueled by your faith and executed by high spirited action to produce the desired result. If you can think it, you can make it your desire and if you can believe it you can pursue it and if you won't quit half way it can be achieved.

Don't Limit God

MEDITATION

Jeremiah 32:27 "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?"

Point to ponder on: How you view God's capacity in your life is synonymous to your expectation of Him.

Your God is not a man but a God of mankind and a father to all adopted into His kingdom through Christ Jesus. He is the Lord over all humans whether any human recognises and submits to His leadership or not, He is the Lord of all. Both the living and the dead will one day bow before Him in judgment. He can kill and also make alive. Beloved, there is absolutely nothing too hard for your God.

It is in the mind of man impossibility lies but not with God, "For with God all things are possible." You expect what you think He is capable of doing knowingly or unknowingly. Some of us limit God in our thinking, you need to boost your mind on God's endless capacity to do the unbelievable and seemingly impossible by reading through the 4-gospel books and refresh your mind of His mightiness with miracles performed by His power. In the 4-gospel books, He does each miracle with different method, therefore, not only should you not limit God, you should not box Him as well thinking that the method He used to help your neighbour is the same that He'll use for you. See God with the understanding of His attributes and names. Remember, in any situation, that the (omniscient) all powerful does powerful things graciously and with Him all things are possible.

Everlasting Love

MEDITATION

1 John 3:1 "What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to." MSG

Point to ponder on: God's love for you is everlasting.

What a privilege you have to be called a child of God and not a slave of God. It's a pure demonstration of God's love towards us believers in Christ Jesus. Never allow your circumstance make you doubt God's love for you. He has declared, "... Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you."Jer.31:3-AMP

Therefore, don't expect acknowledgment from unbelievers who don't know your God. The fact that people mention god doesn't mean it is the God that you serve. The word "god" is generic and so sometimes you must be discerning to understand that it might not be the God that you know. God wants you to see Him as your heavenly Father, relate with Him with the consciousness of a father and child relationship and be fully assured that His love for you doesn't have expiry date. He is faithful in love. God loves sinners but if a sinner doesn't repent he will end up in hell because God will not compromise His holiness. His love made Him give Jesus as a sacrifice for sin. "But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us." Rom.5:8-AMP
There cannot be any other proof of love greater than this to convince you of God's love for you and the entire sinners in the world. "No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends."John 15:13-AMP

Therefore, live each day with the understanding that no matter what you go through in this life, it is not because God has stopped loving you, He hates sin but not you and so we must stay away from what He hates and reciprocate His love by obeying His Word.

Consequently, God wants you to rely on His love for you today and be reminded that He cares for you.
