Simple Obedience

*MEDITATION*

Luke 5:6 "And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking."AMP

Point to ponder on: Simple obedience can deliver to you an outstanding miracle. Just obey His Word for the season and reap the blessing that comes with it.

Peter and the tool for his business were available for the Lord and Peter never hesitated to lay it down for the master's use, and not just that, he positioned it for the master's comfortable use.(See Luke 5:3) What are you giving up to please the Lord and get His attention. Peter gave his boat without coercion to get the attention of Jesus. What are you going to give this new season to get His full attention? Is it Tv show, overeating, oversleeping, name those habits. Is it time you need to create for Him out of your busy schedule? What is it that you struggle with in following Jesus wholeheartedly? Think about it. The Lord will help you get through in Jesus name.

What did Peter get from giving up his boat for a short time Jesus preached on it? He got overflow, something beyond his imagination. He never told Jesus he had toiled as a professional fisherman and caught nothing, but the Lord knew his need and frustration, and after giving up his boat Jesus compensated him with overflow. However, the overflow came through humility, trust and obedience to Jesus' word.(See Luke 5:4-5) He wisely told Jesus of his toil and failure over the night as a professional knowing the night time was best for fishing because fishes would normally come to the top for food. But he couldn't argue on his professionalism, rather he trusted on the living word that is capable of turning around situations. Even without a foreknowledge of what Jesus' word would do, he humbly obeyed and was dazed at the result he got, such that he considered himself inadequate to deserve such blessing as a sinner. If you are ready to experience a new dimension of God in your walk with the Master, obedience is key. Forget how much you know when you are before the Lord. In fact, to experience the supernatural, walking in faith requires that you suspend your brain to get the invisible God to do the impossible.  If you don't, over-thinking based on what you think you know might be a stumbling block. Therefore, get ready for His word anytime and when you discern a word is coming from the Lord through whoever He might choose as His mouthpiece, you better grab it for your miracle.

Consequently, when Peter obeyed, he got his net breaking miracle. What you need this year is just simple obedience to His word. The Lord will send you His word for your case at every instance you need it this year in Jesus name.

Success by Design-30

If you have no goal there is no go. Your goal determines your going each day, each week and each month. Without goals you need not bother about plans and no worries about execution or accomplishment because there is nothing to reach as a target. This is just a typical example of a person existing but not living. Set goals from the dream God has deposited in your heart and begin to live your life following through on your dream.

Out of His Abundance

*MEDITATION*

John 1:16 "For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift."AMP

Point to ponder on: It is out of Christ's abundance that you can receive and enjoy abundant life.

I know sometimes we boast of our qualifications to earn certain things and even on our hard work, but I need you to keep your attention on this key that can and will always open you up for unlimited supply of God's blessing. What is this key? It is the fullness of Christ Jesus. His fullness connotes His abundance. His abundance means no limitation but your qualification has limitations, your connection has limitations even if you are a close friend of Donald Trump there are things that will only answer to the supernatural which man can't give us, even your spouse can't either but only out of Christ's abundance.

Therefore, let us connect our expectations to Christ's abundance that can't be exhausted. We have benefited in His abundance in the past, still in the present and the future also depends on His abundance to experience abundant life He offers mankind and anyone who accepts and believes in Him. What His abundance contains are the ingredients that every human being needs to enjoy life to the fullest. You can't work for it but as long as you are in Christ and depends on His abundance Jesus will make them available to those who trust Him regardless of their weaknesses. He supplies grace, spiritual blessing, favour and gift, all in great measure. Beloved, let us connect to His abundance and trust in His supplies in all our daily endeavours. We can't exhaust them but to receive from Him we must trust Him. If your eyes are on your job, business, intellect or brain power, connection, you can get disappointed but to trust in Christ's abundance He will not fail you.

God Will Raise People For Your Sake

*MEDITATION*

Isaiah 45:4 "For the sake of Jacob My servant, and of Israel My chosen, I have called you by your name. I have surnamed you, though you have not known Me." AMP

Point to ponder on: God can do the unimaginable for your sake. He can raise an unbeliever to a place of authority just to fulfill His purpose in your life. So, don't box God.

God works in a way far beyond our imaginations, hence, we can always expect the unimaginable. When He is set to fulfill His purpose in your life, He works it out in a way that suits Him and will at the end accomplish His will. God raised Cyrus, anointed him, called him by name, surnamed him(made him part of God's family) and strengthened him who didn't even acknowledge Him just for the sake of Jacob (Israel). If you are expecting God's visitation, please don't box Him. He can come in any form simply because He is the Lord and there is no other and He does His things in the way He pleases(See Isa. 45:6-7). God can use anybody for you, be it an unbeliever or a believer. What is important is that His will be done and that you are sensitive and flow with the move of God. I pray that God will raise people for your sake to fulfill destiny in Jesus name. And when God is set to raise help for you, I pray that you will be sensitive to His move and identify who He has raised for your sake in Jesus name. Whatever God is raising people to do in your life will be accomplished with ease in Jesus name.

Get God Involved

*MEDITATION*

Proverbs 16:1&3 "THE PLANS of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue. Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed."AMP

Point to ponder on: You are responsible for planning and when your plans align with God's will, success is guaranteed.

Whatever you have in mind as a dream, goal, idea or ambition, it is the Lord that has the final say. The easiest way to succeed with your plans this year is to wholly commit your work to God. Take all to Him in prayers and discuss with Him as a child will discuss with his or her earthly father being conscious that he is your heavenly father. Whatever field you operate, God is supreme and knows the way to success in your field. As you trust Him wholly, then He will align your thought to His will so that when you are making plans, such plans are inspired by Him to lead you to success. God is committed to your success but you must commit all to Him to activate your success with ease.

God's Reward Ahead

*MEDITATION*

Isaiah 45:3 "And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name." AMP

Point to ponder on: When God chooses to use you He prepares your reward ahead to prove to you He's got your back.

Everyone of us has got one or more assignments to carry out for the kingdom of God here on earth. But we must constantly remind ourselves that with every assignment there is a reward. God is set to help you accomplish whatever He gives you to accomplish for Him. Cyrus was chosen by God to subdue nations before him, and God prepared the way for him to succeed with his reward ahead (See Isa. 45:3)even before He embarked on the mission. I believe God will give you a vision for this new year to accomplish for His glory, therefore, never hesitate because you will only be doing yourself a favour to follow through as God would help you to accomplish the task. If the vision is from God it will definitely be to touch people's lives and not for selfish intentions. When you follow through your reward is already awaiting you. I pray as you follow through God will help you discover buried treasures others can't see and open your eyes to deposits of valuables for your benefit this year to confirm to you He's got your back in Jesus name.

God Has Gone Ahead of You To Make It Great

*MEDITATION*

Isaiah 45:2 "I will go before you and level the mountains [to make the crooked places straight]; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut asunder the bars of iron." AMP

Point to ponder on: God has gone ahead of you to prepare the way so that the journey will be a bliss for you.

One thing you must keep in mind is that your heavenly father has gone ahead of you to prepare the year for your enjoyment. He knows there will be challenges, oppositions, and obstacles but He's got your back. He wants you to know that He cares for your wellbeing and to prove that as a loving father He assures you of leveling any challenge that might appear as mountain and to also break every closed door of opposition or obstacle for you to access open door to another level of glory. God is always ready. Are you ready to cooperate with His leadership? Am so sure you will have fun having Him in control and you just trust Him 100% making your requests known to Him through prayers and position yourself in higher expectations with praise and worship as a lifestyle to receive His daily goodness. Beloved, get ready for refreshing times as you embark on this blissful journey of 2019. The Lord has gone ahead of you. It will be a remarkable year full of God's goodness for you and your household in Jesus name.
