Take Caution

*MEDITATION*

John 11:54 "For that reason Jesus no longer appeared publicly among the Jews, but left there and retired to the district that borders on the wilderness (the desert), to a village called Ephraim, and there He stayed with the disciples."AMP

Point to ponder on: Maintain your privacy, take caution and apply wisdom to living.

Jesus being all powerful, all knowing and a life giver applied a method that every believer should learn from. Despite His power and mightiness, when He realised there was a threat over His life, He took caution and restricted Himself from going to certain places for a period of time. This is wisdom at work, His action was to foil the plan of the Pharisees who had given orders to people to arrest Him before His time. He knew it's not yet His time and His enemies were desperate to get rid of Him at all cost. So he applied wisdom to keep Himself away from the reach of His enemies. There are times you need privacy to give shape to your live. Sometimes you need to withdraw from the crowd and public scene and just be by yourself and see who really cares. You will always need the silent mode in your life ones in a while to keep your life under vivid examination and then reach out again refreshed, inspired and motivated to impact your world. You might need to restrict yourself from certain discussions, events and places for security purposes. This doesn't affect your normal daily life but it simply means maintaining privacy, being disciplined and security conscious. Don't go to danger zone when you can avoid it like Jesus did, and start quoting, "He that keeps Israel neither slumber nor sleep...the Lord is the shade on my right hand." -Ps.121:4&5 Unless you are a security agent on duty who has a responsibility to protect lives and properties, then, you can trust the Lord for safety carrying out your duty. But if not, apply wisdom. "...wisdom can keep you safe. But if you are wise, you will know the best way to live."Eccl.7:12 (EE)

Consequently, some people invite trouble into their lives because of lack of wisdom to be disciplined and maintain privacy. They discuss issues that give their enemies clue about how to deal with them. Know who to give progress update about your life. I know God is your shield(your defence) but don't give yourself away, apply wisdom. It is wise sometimes to keep certain testimonies to your family and God and just mind your business as if nothing serious is happening in your life to give your adversaries diversion for a while from your personal life. The devil doesn't know all things but he gathers information, so be smart. Many who could not maintain privacy about their lives have brought pain on themselves and loved ones as a result of carelessness. Learn to know when to take caution, save some discussion, save some questions, query every outing and lead a quiet life with peace and tranquility. "You are kept by the mighty power of God through faith."

If You Believe You Will See The Glory of God

*MEDITATION*

John 11:40 "Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?" AMP

Point to ponder on: Some problems are glory revealer. Therefore, believe and trust in Jesus in the midst of your storm and you will see the glory of God.

Has it taken so long and now you are wondering, "Why this delay?" May be yours is more than four days of waiting and you are questioning yourself "Does God still answer prayers? Or Could it be my sin that is responsible for this occurrence in my life? I have called on Jesus but nothing seems to be working, LORD please have mercy, I really don't understand what is going on." Beloved, the Lord that you serve wants your case to reveal the glory of God. He knows when all eyes are on you and people are wondering and mocking, "Where is his or her God? Hmmm only God knows those who are truly serving Him." Consequently, when the case seems hopeless and everyone is throwing a pity party for you and friends are sympathising and your faith is under a serious test, be encouraged because your case is about to make known the power and the glory of God. The only thing you need do at this moment is to believe and trust in Jesus against all odds. Jesus will come through as He came through for Lazarus, Mary and Martha. Their neighbours thought it was over for Lazarus, the relationship of Mary and Martha with Jesus was beginning to look like it has nothing divine to offer. Jesus' friends (Mary & Martha) could only hope to see their brother at the resurrection, then, Jesus who is the resurrection and the life showed up and turned things around. Jesus brought resurrection, life, joy and new dawn to their home. The Lord who didn't put His friends to shame will not put you to shame in Jesus name. Are you a friend of Jesus? The relationship that Mary and Martha shared with Jesus brought miracle into their home, your home will experience miracles that will call the attention of your neighbours to rejoice with you in Jesus name.

Jesus' Got You Covered

*MEDITATION*

John 8: 7 "When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, 'If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." NIV

Point to ponder on: In the midst of all odds you can always count on Jesus when people stand against you to pull you down Jesus will stand up for you.

Isn't it amazing that accusers look for every opportunity to find faults and try to nail their victims to the wall of condemnation? The Pharisees were synonyms of the religious demons we have today in the Church clothed with the garment of self-righteousness, who go around finding faults in everyone except themselves. The Pharisees were desperate to pull Jesus down and so they got a great opportunity of a woman who became a victim of circumstance. After they must have had their fill of watching the scene of adultery, they ignored the man and brought out the woman to see whether Jesus would instruct against the law of Moses so they could be justified to get rid of Him, but their efforts failed woefully. Every effort of your accusers will fail over your life in Jesus name. The woman that became their object of ridicule was at their mercy, but Jesus stood up for her. May be someone has been all out for you at your work place or in business or in the neighbourhood or even in your extended family trying to rubbish your integrity, degrade you and humiliate you. Remember, even that woman was a sinner and caught in the act of adultery but Jesus prevailed over her accusers. You will prevail in Jesus name. It doesn't matter your error, when you surrender to Jesus, He will stand up for you and your mess will be covered with mercy. When everyone turns against you, ensure to get Jesus on your side. He won't condemn or judge you but give you an opportunity to right your wrong and begin afresh. Just know that no matter the tongue lashing you might be receiving right now and from whatever quarters that might be coming from, keep your eyes on Jesus because He's got your back and will stand up for you even when friends fail and turn enemies and accusers.

Beloved, don't be discouraged when all your friends desert you at your time of need like no nobody identified with the woman caught in adultery. It was only Jesus who stood for her, therefore, If you find life treating you this way, you have Jesus on your side. He is all you need now, He's got you covered.

Purpose Preserves

MEDITATION

John 7:30 "They were looking for a way to arrest him, but not a hand was laid on him because it wasn't yet God's time." MSG

Point to ponder on: God's purpose preserves your life for its fulfillment until your time is up.

It doesn't matter the drama of the devil and its cohort against your life, it's only a drama of threat. He cannot stop you as long as you are in God's will fulling God's purpose for your life. The reason some of us didn't die when the devil tried to cut us off is because of God's purpose for our lives. God's mercy preserves you to fulfill His purpose for your life. The devil stirred people up against Jesus but to no avail.(See v.44, Jn. 8:59) If you are doing what the Lord has called you to do and in line of your duty fulfilling your life assignment, you can not be cut off until your time is up as designed by God. Therefore, stay in God, you are a solution to your world. It is important to identify your place and stay in there. Going outside it can be dangerous. When you are in your place the devil wants to stop you let alone when you are out of your place of covering. God's purpose preserves you to see its fulfillment, if you are in, please stay and remain blessed. God's purpose will preserve you for its fulfillment, stay in line and fulfill your purpose. You will finish strong in Jesus name.

Eternal Values

*MEDITATION*

John 6:24 "So the people, finding that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, themselves got into the small boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus."AMP

Point to ponder on: Seek after things that are of eternal values.

People sought after Jesus because he has what could satisfy what they considered their needs. They were desperate to locate Him but it was all about food(daily bread) and not because they love Jesus and His Word. It was about what they will gain to satisfy their present hunger which has no eternal value. But Jesus knows human intentions and motives and so He confronted them in their vanity. We also need to stop and ask the big question, "What am I desperately pursuing that is not of eternal value that I have raised above Christ by my motive and action." In the kingdom our significance is not in our earthly possessions but in Christ Jesus. "And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man's life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs."Luke 12:15-AMP
We don't live just for now and instant gratification but for eternal value, something that will speak for us in eternity. Therefore, let us seek Jesus not just for our daily bread, breakthrough, miracle, healing, etc. He knows we need them and He will satisfy us, but let us set our hearts on things above and of eternal value.

Success by Design-31

Whatever dream you have will not become a reality without you playing your part. Joseph had a dream, it was given by God but Joseph was never left out in the fulfilment of his dream. He was disappointed by his brothers, yet, he kept a positive mental attitude. He went through temptation, yet, he kept a positive mental attitude. He was sent to prison, right there he helped the chief butler interpreted his dream and told him what will happen next, the chief butler got out and forgot him, yet Joseph kept a positive mental attitude. However, a day of reward came for his persistence, consistence, labour, resilience, faithfulness and hard work and his dream became a reality. Don't give up when you are clear about your dream, keep a positive mental attitude, trust God and always play your part, you will get there.

How Earnest Do You Want It?

*MEDITATION*

John 5:6 "When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well? [Are you really in earnest about getting well?]"AMP

Point to ponder on: Jesus knows where you need His help but He wants to know how earnest you need it.

Do you know that Jesus takes note of the condition in your life that needs a change. He wants to help you get well in all spheres of life, He wants to put an end to long standing issues, habits that represent either weight or sin preventing you from enjoying a triumphant life. Just as Jesus noticed the invalid man who had been stagnant for thirty eight years, He notices that area in your life that needs transformation and He is willing to help you now. 

However, some believers have remained stagnant because they are always looking unto people instead of taking bold steps and grab the opportunity the Lord has provided, they are still waiting for someone to help them and so they remain on the same spot giving excuses. Excuses have been the barrier of many today like the invalid man, blaming the issue on people who were not ready to help. And even when help came for him, he had been so used to depending on others to help him that he was busy complaining about his disappointments instead of telling Jesus his need. Beloved, Jesus is willing to help you, forget about those who have the capacity to help and didn't help and focus on the true helper who can use anyone to fulfill His mission in your life. It is first you and Jesus, then any other can follow. So tell Jesus those areas you are in earnest about getting well(fixed), whether in your finance, relationships, academics, mental health, physical health, spiritual life or your career.

Consequently,  instead of complaining to everyone about your problems, why don't you go into your room, take a seat or any position comfortable and envision God seated before you and tell him if you think its necessary your frustrations but most importantly the help you need. Take note that Jesus is so gentle and will not impose anything on you, so He needs to know whether you want a change or you prefer the status quo. Jesus will raise you up and emancipate you from every form of stagnation in Jesus name. Be precise about what you want Him to fix in your life.
