What Would You Do?
*MEDITATION*
"All things are legitimate [permissible–and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]."~ 1 Corinthians 10:23|AMP~
Point to ponder on: Do those things that are helpful to you and others, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life.
You are responsible for your life-both physical and spiritual development. You have free will to do what pleases you and that means you can choose to be obedient or disobedient just like Adam and Eve did. But you must also realise that this freedom can lead to destruction because God won't stop you since He has already given you the power of choice. If He didn't stop Eve from eating the forbidden fruit He won't stop you either from doing what pleases you. But, He is always warning us of the consequences of our actions through His word(moral will) and the voice of the Holy Spirit. So, whether we obey or not, it's up to us. However, since all things are not helpful, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life, I want to strongly encourage you to focus on using your free will or power of choice to deliberately do things that are helpful to you and others around you, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life. Therefore, make your choices and actions building blocks to character and spiritual development.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Don't Abuse Your Freedom
*MEDITATION*
"Only be careful that this power of choice (this permission and liberty to do as you please) which is yours, does not [somehow] become a hindrance (cause of stumbling) to the weak or over scrupulous [giving them an impulse to sin]."~ 1 Corinthians 8:9|AMP~
Point to ponder: Be careful how you use your freedom of power of choice, your decision and action could be damaging someone's life or building it.
You have been given the power of choice as freedom to do what you decide, but you must realise that for every action there is a reaction. For every decision you make there are consequences -profit or loss, good or bad. Where you are strong because of knowledge, please exercise caution to ensure that what you know and do do not incite people who are weak to sin. Don't do what other people's weak conscience consider unacceptable regardless of your intellectual view on the subject. Let your decision and action when dealing with people help someone gets better and improve rather than damaging their soul.
Make every effort as long as it depends on you to be a positive influencer helping people to rise from their weak point and not become hindrance to anyone's progress with your power of choice.
Therefore, make a choice to positively contribute to someone's life today and always and the Lord will reward your decision and action accordingly.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Draw the lines
*MEDITATION*
"A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool." ~Proverbs 17:10| kjvlite~
Point to ponder on: Understanding the kinds of people we deal with is a sure way to rest of mind and positive result.
It is wise to deal with people with understanding. Trying to rebuke people without understanding their kind could result into more trouble and waste of time. The bible shows us four categories (kinds) of people, the wise, the fool, the mocker and the simple.
Here we are looking at the attitude of the two (the wise and the fool) among them towards rebuke. If you have to deal with these kinds of people, it requires spiritual wisdom and understanding. So when you are dealing with people and you notice the following reoccurrences, it is a pointer to the kind or the category you are dealing with.
1. A wise person shows understanding and take caution when you rebuke (express a strong disapproval or speak in an angry or critical way to)him or her, but a fool will not. "Rebuking people who have good sense will accomplish more for them than hitting them 100 times with a stick."
2. Critical words enters a wise person and accomplish the result you want. But when you use the same for a fool it will not produce same result. Even if you punish a fool he or she is adamant in his or her mind to oppose knowledge and believe in his wrong that he or she is right even in the wrong.

Consequently, It takes the spiritual wisdom impacted into a fool to bring a lasting change. Remember it is the fool that says in his heart their is no God, it is simply because of what he or she believes(knowledge) so he or she opposes anything contrary to his or her knowledge or belief system until such is faced with the reality. Therefore, use words to rebuke a wise person and commit the mind of a fool to God for impartation and choose your words wisely when dealing with a fool and trust God for such people for a change.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Beware of Double Standard
*MEDITATION*
"Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evil doers!"~ Matthew 7:22-23|NIV~
Point to ponder on: Your secret life is so important as your public life, the Lord will hold you responsible for what you do in the secret, so beware of double standard. Don't abuse grace, spiritual gifts and talents will not become substitutes for godly character.
Your service with your spiritual gifts or even talents will
not be enough to make you enter His Kingdom on that day if your secret life does not align in obedience to His WORD.
not be enough to make you enter His Kingdom on that day if your secret life does not align in obedience to His WORD.
Examine yourself now and repent(change your mind and ways and turn to Jesus) today. Jesus loves you.
May you hear the words of celebration from Jesus on that day in Jesus name.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

From Rejection to Reception
*MEDITATION*
"But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in trouble?
And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, This is why we have turned to you now, that you may go with us and fight the Ammonites and be our head over all the citizens of Gilead."~ Judges 11:7-8|AMP~
Point to ponder on: Your rejection today might be what you will be grateful for tomorrow because it's a push into your next level of greatness.
Please stop feeling sorry for yourself no matter how bad you have been treated. People treat you based on the way they see themselves. It's not your trouble but you must also realise that the way you respond to them is your choice. Don't allow rejection to lead you into depression. It's only a face in your life and it will pass. However, ensure you are in the will of God and you'll see Him turn things around for your good. Always remember that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. Jephthah's rejection was not his end. It was only to prepare him for his next level of greatness. And when the time came he was sought after by those who rejected him. They became instrumental for his lifting.
Consequently, no matter the rejection you are experiencing, let God have His way while you stay positive, the Lord has a great plan for your life and He will perfect it in Jesus name.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

God is Faithful
*MEDITATION*
"God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."~ 1 Corinthians 1:9|AMP~
Point to ponder on: You can count of God always, He is ever true to His word and dependable to fulfill His promise.
This is the time you must not allow discouragement to sway you. You have come too far from where you started to allow this storm to blow away your awaiting result. Your destiny is so important to give up so soon for anything. You need to identify certain things in your life that may not require your pursuit again because God has moved from there to use you somewhere else just as water dried at brook Cherith for Elijah, then it was time for him to meet the widow in Zarephath who was next in line for blessing after blessing the man of God.
However, you must encourage yourself no matter the fierceness of the storm that God is faithful. The fact that he didn't prevent the storm doesn't mean that He has left you to yourself, He is a covenant keeping God who will not betray you or break His covenant of new birth you had with Christ. He will keep every promise in that covenant and you will not regret His companionship. Therefore, stay true to Him in your difficult times and be encouraged, though weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5|AMP) Re-affirm the statement, "God is faithful!
For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!](II Cor. 4:17|AMP).
4:17|AMP).
Say to yourself again, God is faithful, this storm will cease and never to rise again in Jesus name.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy His peace.
