What Would You Do?

*MEDITATION*

"All things are legitimate [permissible–and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]."~ 1 Corinthians 10:23|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Do those things that are helpful to you and others, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life.

You are responsible for your life-both physical and spiritual development. You have free will to do what pleases you and that means you can choose to be obedient or disobedient just like Adam and Eve did. But you must also realise that this freedom can lead to destruction because God won't stop you since He has already given you the power of choice. If He didn't stop Eve from eating the forbidden fruit He won't stop you either from doing what pleases you. But, He is always warning us of the consequences of our actions through His word(moral will) and the voice of the Holy Spirit. So, whether we obey or not,  it's up to us. However, since all things are not helpful, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life, I want to strongly encourage you to focus on using your free will or power of choice to deliberately do things that are helpful to you and others around you, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life. Therefore, make your choices and actions building blocks to character and spiritual development.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.
