It's your turn for favour
Ruth 2:10 "At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She exclaimed "Why have I found such favour in your eyes that you notice me a foreigner?"
Point to ponder on: Divine direction ushers one into favour.
When we reach out trusting God for favour in our endeavours certainly we can be sure that God will bless our effort(work) using men to favour us. Ruth was determined to do something to help herself and her mother-in-law and God ordered her steps to the field where favour was awaiting her. The Lord will order your steps to where your efforts will attract favour of men in Jesus name. In addition, attracting favour from men also involves good will, when Boaz got to know that it was Ruth whom he has heard about her good deeds to her mother -in-law, he was moved to even show more favour to her.(v.10-12). God rewarded Ruth richly for her decision to follow Naomi and everyone who heard her kind gesture perceived her as a woman of noble character. Naturally, a noble character attracts favour from men but when God is set to bless an individual he causes all human good to be a spice on top of favour meal that spreads the aroma to attract the love of men. Every good deed you have exhibited will begin to speak favour for you henceforth in Jesus name. To do nothing is to get nothing. As the Lord favoured Ruth because of her decision, I pray that your decisions henceforth will attract to you favour from God and man in Jesus name.
Good morning. Enjoy a favour filled day.

Hit the Target
Philippians 3:14 "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Kjvlite
Point to ponder on: You cannot hit the target in life if you don't aim your resources, vision, purpose and plan.
It is vital to encourage and remind ourselves that we are here on earth on a mission and when we accomplish what we were designed or wired or called to do, we hit the target. However, we must realise that without a forward movement towards God set goal for our lives we will not hit the target and there will be no prize or reward. And for the prize to be attained we must pay the needed price to attain God set goal for our lives. There are four subjects that must be given critical attention to attain the set goal, which are resources, vision, purpose and planning. To hit the target (God set goal): discover your purpose, from your purpose a vision will be birthed, write out your vision, make plans and deploy the resources(human, material, talent, spiritual gifts, etc) available to you to accomplish your vision. When we focus our resources through wise planning towards our vision, the purpose is actualised and we will definitely hit our target in life.
Good morning. Enjoy God's bliss.

Possess All
Judges 11: 24b "...whatever the LORD our God has given us, we will possess."NIV
Point to ponder on: It is for God to give, it is for us to possess.
Every territory God gave to Israelites did not jump into their hands but they had to respond with corresponding action to possess them. They took responsibility and the LORD delivered them into their hands. Now we do not have to fight like the Israelites did with physical weapons to take what belongs to us. We have the sword of the Spirit-the word of God to battle every strong hold opposing us from possessing what God has given to us. Thank God for the dispensation of grace, in which all things have been freely given to us and those things are discerned by the Spirit of God within us.(1Cor.2:12)Hallelujah! We are more confident now that as God demonstrated His love and gave Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins, he will also through Christ Jesus freely give us all things.(Rom. 8:32) This scripture gives us assurance that everything the Father has given, we can possess through Jesus. Therefore, all we need do is to take responsibility and engage Christ to reveal through the Holy Spirit things that have been given that we might receive and possess reaching out with faith. It's time to take what belongs to you. Go for it!
Good morning. Enjoy a fabulous day..

The Lord is with us
Psalm 11:4 "The LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD’s throne is in the heavens. His eyes see, his glance examines humanity."
Point to ponder on: Anywhere God has put His name His presence is ever present.
Glory to God all doubts have been blown away like smoke vanishes in the air. God's word gives assurance of His presence in His Holy Temple. If we be genuine with God we carry His presence within us and His manifest presence in our corporate worship. We are more confident that our pleas and supplications will get God's attention because His eyes are on us. Therefore, our joy should be full as we approach the throne of grace in praise and thanksgiving and make our requests known to Him because He is with us to answer for us to experience joy and pleasure. Worship God and be conscious of His presence.
Good morning. Enjoy His glory.

Elements of Wisdom
Proverbs 8:14 "Counsel belongs to me, along with sound judgment. I am understanding. Power belongs to me."ISV
Point to ponder on: A person of wisdom seeks counsel, shows sound judgment, has understanding, and all these make him powerful as he produces quality results with them.
A proof of being at home with wisdom are the elements of wisdom mentioned by the wisest man in the bible days who has no parallel among us today. In the 19th century the likes of Leonardo Da Vinci was a man with elements of wisdom and his works still speak for him today but none among human has taught us how to acquire wisdom like Solomon did. Others who came after Solomon displayed wisdom and invented so many things but didn't give us script to acquire wisdom. Philosophers tried their best and left us great articles and quotations from their discoveries to help us become better. Accomplished men from various field of endeavours showed elements of wisdom. But there is a source to the wisdom of these people that has changed our world, which is God. However, today we have a more sure access to wisdom which is Christ "the power of God and the wisdom of God"(1Cor.1:24) and Christ leaves with us the Holy Spirit through whom we unlock the way of wisdom from generation past to the present. The revealer of secret things and the unveiler of great ideas that rule the world. Therefore, anyone who will ply this way of wisdom must embrace counsel(which depicts advice or purpose). With counsel a sound judgment is attained and with this, understanding is gained, altogether making a person powerful and productive. Remember, seeking counsel whether through books, attending seminars,(or webinars) asking questions, researching, observing, going through counselling exposes us to knowledge which brings sound judgment and understanding. And proper application of this empowers us to get result in life. Seek counsel!
Good morning. Enjoy a pleasant day.

Jesus Got Your Back
Galatians 6:17 "From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus."kjvlite
Point to ponder on: When Christ died on the cross, He took our place and we also died with him, that gives us access to a life of righteousness through Him and a sure defence.
Every believer should understand Christ's substitution (He took our place on the cross He that was without sin{Rom.4:25}) and our co-death on the cross (that we have been crucified with Christ {Gal.2:20}) Hence, the life we live in the body we live by faith in the son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us and know for sure that Jesus still loves us. Hence, Christ's mark rest on us because in Him we live, move and have our being(Acts.17:28). Therefore, anyone who troubles me is waging war against Christ and it is written " Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you".(2Thess.1:6) Beloved, you have nothing to fear about those pushing trouble God knows how to deal with them on your behalf. Let them be warned though for their own good not to mess around with you because the Host of heaven is backing you up as long as you are His disciple. You are untouchable. Rejoice because Jesus' got your back.
Good morning. Enjoy a favourable day.

God will keep His promises
Ecclesiastes 11:1 "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days."KJV
Point to ponder on: Reward will surely come but not as we expect.
We must not expect to see an immediate reward for all the good we do; nor must we always confine our efforts to places and persons which seem likely to yield us a recompense for our labors. The Egyptian casts his seed upon the waters of the Nile, where it might seem a sheer waste of corn. But in due time the flood subsides, the rice or other grain sinks into the fertile mud, and rapidly a harvest is produced. Let us today do good to the unthankful and the evil. Let us teach the careless and the obstinate. Unlikely waters may cover hopeful soil. Nowhere shall our labor be in vain in the Lord.
It is ours to cast our bread upon the waters; it remains with God to fulfill the promise "Thou shalt find it." He will not let His promise fail. His good word which we have spoken shall live, shall be found, shall be found by us, Perhaps not just yet, but some day we shall reap what we have sown. We must exercise our patience, or perhaps the Lord may exercise it. "After many days," says the Scripture, and in many instances those days run into months and years, and yet the Word stands true. God's promise will keep; let us mind that we keep the precept and keep it this day.
Good morning. Do have a pleasant weekend.
