MEDITATION
It's your turn for favour
Ruth 2:10 "At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She exclaimed "Why have I found such favour in your eyes that you notice me a foreigner?"
Point to ponder on: Divine direction ushers one into favour.
When we reach out trusting God for favour in our endeavours certainly we can be sure that God will bless our effort(work) using men to favour us. Ruth was determined to do something to help herself and her mother-in-law and God ordered her steps to the field where favour was awaiting her. The Lord will order your steps to where your efforts will attract favour of men in Jesus name. In addition, attracting favour from men also involves good will, when Boaz got to know that it was Ruth whom he has heard about her good deeds to her mother -in-law, he was moved to even show more favour to her.(v.10-12). God rewarded Ruth richly for her decision to follow Naomi and everyone who heard her kind gesture perceived her as a woman of noble character. Naturally, a noble character attracts favour from men but when God is set to bless an individual he causes all human good to be a spice on top of favour meal that spreads the aroma to attract the love of men. Every good deed you have exhibited will begin to speak favour for you henceforth in Jesus name. To do nothing is to get nothing. As the Lord favoured Ruth because of her decision, I pray that your decisions henceforth will attract to you favour from God and man in Jesus name.
Good morning. Enjoy a favour filled day.
I celebrate you.
David, Johnson
