Prepare the Way
Esther 4:16 "Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish." Kjvlite
*Point to ponder on*: Learn to prepare your way to access what you want in life.
God positioned Esther at a vantage position for such a time in history to salvage the Jews from the terror of extermination. Her presence in the palace was divine and wasn't just that of a wife as a Queen, but God's mouth piece and a deliverer of the Jews. She knew nothing about this but the event that followed her entrance into royalty revealed divine purpose for her life. Do you know that everywhere you go orchestrated by God is a divine positioning to accomplish God' s will? Whether at work, school, neighbourhood, etc "From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live." Acts17:26
However, for Esther to fulfill purpose she had to prepare her way to get what she wanted. This singular act seems to be the most remarkable thing done by Esther for her people, which shows purpose in her becoming a royalty. She fasted with other Jews to get God to back her up and made up her mind to put her life in line to stand for her people. And when she was ready to go for what she wanted, because she had prepared spiritually she broke protocol and instead of death she found favour, she intervened on behalf of her people and got them emancipated. Have you found a purpose for that position you occupy beyond the title and benefits? What are you positioned to accomplish in your field? And how well are your preparations for every opportunity destiny might bring your way in your field. If Esther didn't back out in the face of trouble we can learn from her in order to take courageous move to access what we want. Prepare your way to access what you want.
Good morning. Enjoy His favour.
I celebrate you.
