Let God Take Charge

MEDITATION

Let God Take Charge

Psalms 119:29 "Keep me from going the wrong way, and in your goodness teach me your law." GNB

Point to ponder on: God's leadership over your life is a guide against error and a pointer in the right direction.

The Almighty is certainly the only one who has a perfect and accurate knowledge of you. He knows your thought pattern, background, positive and negative influencers and your enemies. Therefore, it is wise to trust Him for guidance against error and to point us in the right direction to go in life.

Sequel to this, it is apparent that the sure way to follow the lead of God is to be a teachable learner in the school of the Spirit where the required handbook is the Holy Bible. As a result, to pray God to keep us from going the wrong way and we ignore the study of the word is to deliberately and ignorantly walk against our prayer request. God will show us through the revelation of the word what is wrong and right and by His Spirit He will guide us into all truths and teach us all things we need to know and bring to our remembrance things we have learnt from His word.

To stay on the right way is to stay glued to the word and listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit as we meditate on the Holy Scriptures daily for divine direction.

You will not yield to any strange voice to take a decision that will lead you off the right path in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His grace.

He Will Save You As Promised

MEDITATION

He Will Save You As Promised

Psalm 119:154 "Defend my cause, and set me free; save me, as you have promised." GNB

Point to ponder on: God will always keep His promises but we must always obey His word.

The Psalmist knew the power of obedience to God's word and in that word he had discovered the promises of God, hence he sought the LORD with understanding.

In spite of  David's love for God, he was not spared from trials of life, as a matter of fact he fought many battles but God was faithful to save him from all his battles. Are you being victimized, assaulted, faulted, attacked or even accused based on your actions or inactions and to your accuser you seem to be a prey of the lawful captive? If you will not give up on God and yourself, you will definitely find succour in God to ask for His divine intervention. It doesn't matter how difficult things are now, why don't you say this prayer confidently trusting God to defend your cause: "Give me strength, as you promised, and I shall live; don't let me be disappointed in my hope!"(Psalms 119:116-GNB)

The LORD will save you from your present predicament, His mercy will exempt you from judgment and your mind will be set free from obsession, oppression and depression in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy a fabulous day.

Historical Evidence for the Exodus May Have Been Found

By

David, Johnson

Archaeologists may have found historical evidence for the biblical account of the Exodus near the River Jordan.

Experts are currently analyzing ruins near the River Jordan as potential proof that the story of the Exodus, is more than a legend and indeed a historical fact.

According to U.K. Daily Express, a United Kingdom media outlet, archaeologists generally agree that the Israelites were natives of Canaan, which contradicts the account in the Biblical book of Exodus.

According to the Bible, Moses liberated the Israelites from Egypt leading them through Sinai and across the River Jordan to Canaan.

Archaeologists Ralph K. Hawkins and David Ben-Shlomo have now found some evidence in the Jordan Valley site of Khirbet el-Mastarah, which they believe are remnants of ruins from a nomadic people who they believe to be the Hebrews coming from Egypt.

Ben-Shlomo told U.K. Daily Express that based on his expertise the ruins offer great potential to be evidence for the Exodus.

"We have not proved that these camps are from the period of the early Israelites, but it is possible," noted Ben-Shlomo.

"If they are, this might fit the biblical story of the Israelites coming from east of the Jordan River, then crossing the Jordan and entering into the hill country of Israel later."

Ben-Shlomo and Hawkins published their findings in the July/August 2018 edition of Biblical Archaeology Review, where they discussed the periodization of the ruins. According to the journal, the ruins appear to date to the Iron Age, the same time as the Exodus.

The duo conducted their onsite research in the summer of 2017 and then took time to evaluate and test the materials found.

According to Express, soil samples from the dig site have been sent in for analysis and are awaiting review.

The Christian Post reports that the archaeologists found stone ruins and pottery fragments at the site and were able to preliminarily date them to a period of time between the Late Bronze Age (1400–1200 B.C.) and the Iron Age (1200–1000).

"By the end of our 2017 season, we were struck by the fascinating picture that had begun to emerge in the Jordan Valley, a region that up until recently has been virtually unknown archaeologically," said Ben-Shlomo and Hawkins.

"Within a range of just a couple of miles, we may be able to see the evolution of early Israel from a domestic-scale culture [at Khirbet el-Mastarah] to a political-scale culture [at Khirbet 'Auja el-Foqa]."

The Christian Post reports that Khirbet 'Auja el-Foqa has been identified by researchers as the ancient city of Ataroth which is referenced in Joshua 16:5.

A flying car will go on sale to customers in the US from October with the first orders being delivered next year.

The Terrafugia Transition is the first model that will be available with a more advanced follow-up, the TF-X planned.

There's no pricing information available yet but the company says it should be similar to a luxury passenger car.

A range of 400 miles is promised from the vehicle which can travel at speeds of up to 100mph.

When the Transition is on the road its wheels are driven by a hybrid electric motor. Potential buyers will, of course, need both a road driving licence and be certified to fly a light aircraft .

Pre-orders are expected to start in October and the company is also expected to announce the TF-2, which can operate as both a passenger and cargo plane.

The Terrafugia TF-X will be controlled by computer and won't need as much training as a light aircraft(Image: Terrafugia)

Also planned is the TF-X which is set to offer four person capacity and achieve speeds of up to 200mph and offer 500 miles of range.

The engine in the TF-X runs on unleaded fuel and is capable of vertical take off and landing which means it doesn't need a runway to get airborne.

The car's propellers are electrically-powered, which Terrafugia says mean it's quiet. The petrol engine will charge a set of batteries that are used to power both the wheels and propellers.

The car's conversion into a plane will take less than a minute, according to the company.

Terrafugia says that the TF-X won't need as much training to fly as a light aircraft, or the Transition.

The TF-X will fit in a normal-sized garage and can take off without a runway

Designed to be as simple to operate as possible the TF-X will be largely controlled by computer. Owners will pre-program a route into the vehicle and it will take off, fly and land automatically.

All the owner will need to do is confirm that they have found a safe takeoff site. The vehicle will have the option to be piloted semi-manually as well.

The TF-X will also be equipped with a parachute in case anything goes wrong.

While the Terrafugia Transition will be delivered to customers in 2019 there's currently no date announced for the TF-X.

Throw Down These Horns

MEDITATION

Throw Down These Horns

Zechariah 1: 18-20 "Then I looked up- and there before me were four horns! I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "What are these?" He answered me, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem." Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen. I asked, "What are these coming to do?" He answered, "These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people." NIV

Point to ponder on: God is carefully watching over your life and He has put a plan in place to avenge your enemies of progress.

It doesn't matter the attack lunched by any force of man or devil against your life, your God is well able to defend and fight back on your behalf. His plan is to terrify and throw down any force standing against your rising in life.

Dear Father, raise craftsmen to terrify and throw down every horn that has come to scatter my family and stop me from rising in life in Jesus name. Amen.

I celebrate your victory.

Good morning. Have a great weekend.

Sir Isaac Newton predicted 'world will end in 2060 with Jesus' second coming' in newly discovery writing

Sir Isaac Newton predicted the world will end in 2060 in newly discovered writings unearthed by academics.

The renowned scientist, who discovered gravity, wrote about a second coming of Christ in just over four decades time - marking an end to life as we know it.

Born in 1643, Newton was considered an insightful theologian who had a life-long interest in the existence of God and religion.

He based a lot of his religious writings on his extensive readings of the Bible.

The world could end in 2060 when the universe 'resets' itself according to Newton (Image: Stocktrek Images)

But in a new set of writings Newton, writing under the alias 'Jehovah Sanctus Unus' predicted the world would "reset" at 2060 at which point the Earth will once again become “the Kingdom of God”, the Daily Star reports.

“It may end later, but I see no reason for its ending sooner,” he wrote.

The prediction is unveiled in 'Isaac Newton: The A**hole Who Reinvented The Universe' by Florian Freistetter.

He said the world will once again become the 'kingdom of god' (Image: Stocktrek Images)

He said: "For him, 2060 [would be] a new beginning; maybe accompanied by war and catastrophes but ultimately the start of a new divine era."

Florian said Newton was convinced future events were "already ordained by God" and he believed in the existence of 'prophetic time periods'.

In January this year the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists moved the doomsday clock closer to midnight warning the world is closer to catastrophe than it has ever been.

They moved it to two minutes to midnight - 3- seconds closer than it was in 2017 - citing nuclear war, climate change and political upheaval as reasons.

Don't Make Christ's Death Worthless

MEDITATION

Don't Make Christ's Death Worthless

Galatians 2:21 "I refuse to reject the grace of God. But if a person is put right with God through the Law, it means that Christ died for nothing!" GNB

Point to ponder on: Grace made available for us what we cannot work for.

So many believers are rejecting the grace of God by subjecting themselves to traditions of men and religious rules hoping that with such they will please God. They place religious rules over faith in Christ Jesus and His work on the cross. They celebrate the cross but not living in the consciousness of Christ's work on the cross. Some people think they still have to do something to impress God to save them. If Christ died while we were yet sinners what else can we do when we are now made saints already by His death and resurrection to be put right with Him. "They have not known the way in which God puts people right with himself, and instead, they have tried to set up their own way; and so they did not submit themselves to God's way of putting people right. For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God." (Romans 10:3,4-GNB)

When we are trying to be put right with God through the law and trivialise faith in the work of Jesus on the cross, we are rejecting the grace of God. Law cannot make us right with God. However, that doesn't make us lawbreakers either, because His laws are written in our hearts and with the fruit of the Spirit, "against such there is no law."
"It was on the basis of the levitical priesthood that the Law was given to the people of Israel. Now, if the work of the levitical priests had been perfect, there would have been no need for a different kind of priest to appear, one who is in the priestly order of Melchizedek, not of Aaron. For when the priesthood is changed, there also has to be a change in the law. ... The old rule, then, is set aside, because it was weak and useless. For the Law of Moses could not make anything perfect. And now a better hope has been provided through which we come near to God. ... This difference, then, also makes Jesus the guarantee of a better covenant." (Hebrews 7:11,12,18,19,22-GNB)

Sequel to this, Jesus had to die the death of the cross and if we believe the observation of the law makes us right with God then Jesus' death was for nothing. "The Jewish Law is not a full and faithful model of the real things; it is only a faint outline of the good things to come. The same sacrifices are offered forever, year after year. How can the Law, then, by means of these sacrifices make perfect the people who come to God?" (Hebrews 10:1-GNB)  "His choice is based on his grace, not on what they have done. For if God's choice were based on what people do, then his grace would not be real grace." (Romans 11:6-GNB) Grace simplifies Christian living, let Christ's death count.

This grace will break protocols for you throughout the remaining months of this year in Jesus name.

Good morning. Enjoy His grace.

I celebrate you.
