What Would You Do?

*MEDITATION*

"All things are legitimate [permissible–and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]."~ 1 Corinthians 10:23|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Do those things that are helpful to you and others, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life.

You are responsible for your life-both physical and spiritual development. You have free will to do what pleases you and that means you can choose to be obedient or disobedient just like Adam and Eve did. But you must also realise that this freedom can lead to destruction because God won't stop you since He has already given you the power of choice. If He didn't stop Eve from eating the forbidden fruit He won't stop you either from doing what pleases you. But, He is always warning us of the consequences of our actions through His word(moral will) and the voice of the Holy Spirit. So, whether we obey or not,  it's up to us. However, since all things are not helpful, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life, I want to strongly encourage you to focus on using your free will or power of choice to deliberately do things that are helpful to you and others around you, constructive to character and edifying to spiritual life. Therefore, make your choices and actions building blocks to character and spiritual development.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Don't Abuse Your Freedom

*MEDITATION*

"Only be careful that this power of choice (this permission and liberty to do as you please) which is yours, does not [somehow] become a hindrance (cause of stumbling) to the weak or over scrupulous [giving them an impulse to sin]."~ 1 Corinthians 8:9|AMP~

Point to ponder: Be careful how you use your freedom of power of choice, your decision and action could be damaging someone's life or building it.

You have been given the power of choice as freedom to do what you decide, but you must realise that for every action there is a reaction. For every decision you make there are consequences -profit or loss, good or bad. Where you are strong because of  knowledge, please exercise caution to ensure that what you know and do do not incite people who are weak to sin. Don't do what other people's weak conscience consider unacceptable regardless of your intellectual view on the subject. Let your decision and action when dealing with people help someone gets better and improve rather than damaging their soul.
Make every effort as long as it depends on you to be a positive influencer helping people to rise from their weak point and not become hindrance to anyone's progress with your power of choice.

Therefore, make a choice to positively contribute to someone's life today and always and the Lord will reward your decision and action accordingly.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Draw the lines

*MEDITATION*

"A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool." ~Proverbs 17:10| kjvlite~

Point to ponder on: Understanding the kinds of people we deal with is a sure way to rest of mind and positive result.

It is wise to deal with people with understanding. Trying to rebuke people without understanding their kind could result into more trouble and waste of time. The bible shows us four categories (kinds) of people, the wise, the fool, the mocker and the simple.

Here we are looking at the attitude of the two (the wise and the fool) among them towards rebuke. If you have to deal with these kinds of people, it requires spiritual wisdom and understanding. So when you are dealing with people and you notice the following reoccurrences, it is a pointer to the kind or the category you are dealing with.
1. A wise person shows understanding and take caution when you rebuke (express a strong disapproval or speak in an angry or critical way to)him or her, but a fool will not. "Rebuking people who have good sense will accomplish more for them than hitting them 100 times with a stick."
2. Critical words enters a wise person and accomplish the result you want. But when you use the same for a fool it will not produce same result. Even if you punish a fool he or she is adamant in his or her mind to oppose knowledge and believe in his wrong that he or she is right even in the wrong.

Consequently, It takes the spiritual wisdom impacted into a fool to bring a lasting change. Remember it is the fool that says in his heart their is no God, it is simply because of what he or she believes(knowledge) so he or she opposes anything contrary to his or her knowledge or belief system until such is faced with the reality. Therefore, use words to rebuke a wise person and commit the mind of a fool to God for impartation and choose your words wisely when dealing with a fool and trust God for such people for a change.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Beware of Double Standard

*MEDITATION*

"Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evil doers!"~ Matthew 7:22-23|NIV~

Point to ponder on: Your secret life is so important as your public life, the Lord will hold you responsible for what you do in the secret, so beware of double standard.  Don't abuse grace, spiritual gifts and talents will not become substitutes for godly character.

Your service with your spiritual gifts or even talents will
not be enough to make you enter His Kingdom on that day if your secret life does not align in obedience to His WORD.
Examine yourself now and repent(change your mind and ways and turn to Jesus) today. Jesus loves you.
May you hear the words of celebration from Jesus on that day in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

From Rejection to Reception

*MEDITATION*

"But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in trouble?

And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, This is why we have turned to you now, that you may go with us and fight the Ammonites and be our head over all the citizens of Gilead."~ Judges 11:7-8|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Your rejection today might be what you will be grateful for tomorrow because it's a push into your next level of greatness.

Please stop feeling sorry for yourself no matter how bad you have been treated. People treat you based on the way they see themselves. It's not your trouble but you must also realise that the way you respond to them is your choice. Don't allow rejection to lead you into depression. It's only a face in your life and it will pass. However, ensure you are in the will of God and you'll see Him turn things around for your good. Always remember that  in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. Jephthah's rejection was not his end. It was only to prepare him for his next level of greatness. And when the time came he was sought after by those who rejected him. They became instrumental for his lifting.

Consequently, no matter the rejection you are experiencing, let God have His way while you stay positive, the Lord has a great plan for your life and He will perfect it in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

*Prayer Points*
1. Father turn every rejection in my life into a great reception.
2. Let my adversaries be instrumental for my lifting in Jesus name.
3. I will never be rejected in my place of blessing in Jesus name.

God is Faithful

*MEDITATION*

"God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."~ 1 Corinthians 1:9|AMP~

Point to ponder on: You can count of God always, He is ever true to His word and dependable to fulfill His promise.

This is the time you must not allow discouragement to sway you. You have come too far from where you started to allow this storm to blow away your awaiting result. Your destiny is so important to give up so soon for anything. You need to identify certain things in your life that may not require your pursuit again because God has moved from there to use you somewhere else just as water dried at brook Cherith for Elijah, then it was time for him to meet the widow in Zarephath who was next in line for blessing after blessing the man of God.

However, you must encourage yourself no matter the fierceness of the storm that God is faithful. The fact that he didn't prevent the storm doesn't mean that He has left you to yourself, He is a covenant keeping God who will not betray you or break His covenant of new birth you had with Christ. He will keep every promise in that covenant and you will not regret His companionship. Therefore, stay true to Him in your difficult times and be encouraged, though weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5|AMP) Re-affirm the statement, "God is faithful!
For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!](II Cor. 4:17|AMP).
Say to yourself again, God is faithful, this storm will cease and never to rise again in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Concentrate On Your Specifics

*MEDITATION*

"For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force and emptied of its power and rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect)."~ 1 Corinthians 1:17|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Concentrate 100% on what your life assignment or duty requires of you and don't be distracted by side attractions.

You are always powerful in your zone. As long as you stay in your place of calling you remain a champion. Follow divine order and retain your power, imitate human concept and be emptied of your divine back up. God will only back up what He commands.

In a secular system, follow your job description, concentrate on what is required of you. Don't meddle in other's business. If your opinion is needed about anything and you have something to offer, apply wisdom as you contribute to others and do that with humility.
A person who concentrates 100% on his life assignment, work or duty deepens his skill for better performance. Do your work as required and where your creativity and innovation are required, give your best.

Apostle Paul succeeded in his assignment because of 100% concentration on his specifics. You have your specifics, concentrate on them and the Lord will grant you success in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Acknowledge His Hand in Your Success

MEDITATION

"For who separates you from the others [as a faction leader]? [Who makes you superior and sets you apart from another, giving you the preeminence?] What have you that was not given to you? If then you received it [from someone], why do you boast as if you had not received [but had gained it by your own efforts]?" ~ 1 Corinthians 4:7|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Acknowledge the hand of God in your accomplishments, you couldn't have come this far without His blessings.

It baffles me when people kiss their brains instead of thanking the maker of the brain who gives it freely. Ours is not just about achievement but of receive-ment because everything about us is based on what we receive. This is the kingdom reality and that should be the mindset for all believers, so that you don't get puffed up with all you have and what you are but rather to acknowledge the giver of every good thing in your life. You are precious to God so are your fellow brothers and sisters. You are not better than them because of your accomplishments, but only privileged because you received your accomplishments from the Lord. But, "I laboured so much to get to this level." Thank God that you laboured, but your maker has designed the universe to reward every labour.(see Prov.14:23) Besides, there are people who have worked harder than you but have no match of your accomplishment, so acknowledge that you are a privileged child of the kingdom and God is to be praised and not to kiss your brain as if the brain was made by you. If you must accomplish more great things here on the path God has set for you, you must acknowledge the hand of God in your success and always celebrate Him for it. Don't boast of principles, books, courses and training you undertook, or people you know, if you are not in your right mind you wont be able to acquire and apply them and when God's blessing is not released on it, it will only be effort in futility and little reward for greater effort.

Therefore, hit every week acknowledging God in the process of your endeavour and His hand will deliver to you greater blessing beyond your expectations in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Focus More on Your Source

MEDITATION

"So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but [only] God Who makes it grow and become greater."~1 Corinthians 3:7|AMP~

Point to ponder on: Focus more on your source of increase(God) and don't take your own responsibility for granted. It takes you plus God to fulfill your destiny and attain greatness.

Don't focus on the wrong things that are not so important to your lifting. And ensure you place your priority right. Give more of your attention to the power zone of your life and never underrate the complimentary force of your responsibility as you work with God. God has given the earth to mankind(see Ps.115:16) and won't do anything here without you. Even though He determines the increase in your endeavour, He also requires that you play your part by doing your best while you trust Him to do the rest. God will only bless what you have and increase what you have, so if you have nothing for him to bless then you can't expect increase. But there is no one without what God can bless. Therefore, don't magnify what He can bless but magnify who can bless to bring increase at all times, which is your God . In your labour, there is a reward and God will do His part while you do yours. Hence, I pray that you will encounter God's blessing upon every of your actions promoted by faith in your endeavours and the Lord will make your work, business, ministry, career, marriage, financial and academic investment grow and become greater in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

God- The Unfailing Protector

*MEDITATION*

"You are my hiding place; you protect me from distress. You surround me with shouts of joy from those celebrating deliverance. (Selah)"~ Psalm 32:7|NET~

Point to ponder on: There is no place in the world that safety is 100% guaranteed, only in God is absolute safety.

Where can we go in the world in this age and be certain that we are safe? There is certainly no place where we can comfortably breath the air of safety. The presence of heavy security personnel tells us of the presence of danger and prompts us to be security conscious. Whether at home or abroad, God is our sure security. The only place we can take cover from the invisible power of darkness and from the human wickedness in this present age is in God. He protects us from evil we cannot see and deliver us even when we don't know we are surrounded by danger. This God is so dependable that He does not only protect us but he covers those around us so that we can together rejoice in His faithfulness for His deliverance.
God is the sure hiding place. His name is the strong tower the righteous can run into and be safe. Therefore, run to the Lord Jesus and you will be safe from trouble.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

A Sure Answer To Your Desires

*MEDITATION*

"May he give you what your heart desires, and may he fulfill all your plans."~ Psalm 20:4 |ISV~

Point to ponder on: Everyone whose heart delights in the Lord has their heart desires granted.

What is that heart beat? What is that concern? What is that project? What is the need in line? What is that burning desire? There is a God who is able to do beyond your asking and imagination. All you need do is to ask. However, a sure way to ask and not ask amiss is to cultivate a heart that seeks God. Such heart becomes a delight to God and knows His will and will definitely desire according to God's will. And when such a precious believer calls on God, he gets the attention of God because the heart is yielded to God and the Almighty executes his plans and grants his heart desires. Is your heart yielded to God? Then lay before him your heart desires, He will give you your heart desires.
May the Lord circumcise your heart to be permanently yielded to Him in Jesus name. May all your heart desires for this year become a reality according to His will in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

The Unfailing Helper

*MEDITATION*

"Hence we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”~ Hebrew 13:6| ISV~

Point to ponder on: Whoever is helped by God is covered by the assurance of His grace.

Every attempt to rubbish, limit, threaten, and demote you will be futile in Jesus name. What is that circumstance  challenging your greatness? Who is that person contending your fulfilment in life? What kind of weakness is limiting your progress? It doesn't matter the circumstances, persons or weaknesses opposing your progress, God has promised never to live nor forsake you. Why? Because He is our true helper and having given His word, it is a quality assurance to clear every doubt and dismiss fear of people, situation or weakness set to stop us from fulfilling destiny. If God be for us who is that person that can stand against us, what is that situation or circumstance  that can limit us and what kind of weakness can stand the power of the Most High. Beloved, let nothing stop you because God is your helper, people will fail but He remains faithful, people may even want to stop you and refuse to support you, but He will support you. However, the God that we serve is too faithful to fail and He never fails. Hold Him by His word, He will help you, fight your battles and defeat every form of Pharaoh or Goliath confronting  your fulfilment in life.

The Lord will give you help this week in all your endeavours in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

It's What Comes Out of You That Makes You Unclean

*MEDITATION*

"Nothing outside  a man can make him 'unclean' by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean' ...'Are you so dull?' he asked. Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body."(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")~ Mark 7:15-19|NIV~

*Point to ponder on:* The active evil thought you allow to dwell in your mind is what makes you unclean. Don't allow evil thought to build a nest in your heart, rebuke it, refocus on good and godly thought and stay clean.

What you eat and drink could only endanger your health or nourish it but information you feed your heart with will either be seed of corruption or righteousness planted in your heart, which will make your heart unclean or clean.

Therefore, be sensitive always to what you open your heart to, because it will conceive and give birth to what will make you pure or impure. So, "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life."-Pro.4:23|AMP " Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts."- Proverbs 4:23|GNB

May God's grace that is sufficient uphold you to follow the Higher way of holiness this week in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

Had Work Pays Off

*MEDITATION*

"Hard work always pays off;mere talk puts no bread on the table."~ Proverbs 14:23|MSG~

Point to ponder on: God blesses hard work, every labour has a profit, the way out of poverty is to think smartly, act smartly and work hard.

God created the first man to tend, guard and keep the garden. That was Adam's job description. God created a system for human work life as the means for His physical, intellectual, spiritual, relational, economical and financial development. A person who works keeps himself physically fit, establishes relationships, improves intellectually, keeps himself spiritually alert and sustains himself economically and financially. Whatever you do, as long as it is legit, there is dignity in labour. If your work is not to talk to earn a living like the journalist, lawyer, preachers, teachers or public speakers, it doesn't matter how much you talk about your plans without working it out, it won't bring food to your table and it is simply an invitation to poverty. If you have been working hard and wasters have been scattering what you have gathered, the Lord will put an end to such evil in Jesus name. Your reward will not elude you in Jesus name.

However, be encouraged as you go through your work daily and weekly because the Lord recognises your hard work and He will favour your endeavour and bless the work of your hand in Jesus name. Remember, "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.

His Goodness

MEDITATION

Jeremiah 31:14 "I will satisfy fully the life of the priests with abundance [of offerings shared with them], and My people will be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord." AMP

Point to ponder on: The Lord's concern for us is great, hence, He has promised to fully satisfy His servants with abundance and to also satisfy His people with His goodness.

The Lord our redeemer has great concern for His people. He has redeemed us from the hand of our adversary and promised to satisfy fully those who work on the altar with abundance from the proceed of the altar and to satisfy the pew with His goodness. Are you the redeemed of the Lord? If  Yes, then you should expect God's promises to manifest in your life. He will always make it happen because He is not a liar. Henceforth, expect God's goodness every where you turn to because the Lord is committed to His word. Command your day to be full of His goodness to you. People of old experienced His goodness, how much more you saved by His grace. Don't allow any situation around you to stop you from dreaming of great things and following up on your dreams. He has promised to satisfy you with His goodness and that shall be your experience this season and in all your endeavours in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Increase

*MEDITATION*

Psalm 71:21 "You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side."UKJV

Point to ponder on: If your desire is increase, you must look up to God who has commanded you from the beginning to increase and multiply and you can also ask Him  for comfort the world cannot give on every side of life.

Every one needs increase, no one desires to stay small or remain stagnant, but we must look in the right direction. God has commanded your increase even when you were still in the loins of the first man on earth and now that you have your rebirth in Christ who is full of grace you can experience grace propelled increase in every area of your life. It is God that gives increase not man, therefore, ask for it and be sensitive to the seed of ideas He releases into your mind, people He brings your way and opportunity He creates for you. His blessing for increase often comes in a way you may never imagine, so be sensitive to happenings around you. If it is the blessing of God to bring increase there will be favour in the process and no sorrow added to it but comfort to enjoy His goodness. Remember, "The blessing of the Lord, it make rich and he adds no sorrow with it."-Pro.10:22

Surely, the Lord will increase you and comfort you on every side in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His peace.
