Down But Not Out

MEDITATION

Down But Not Out

2 Corinthians 4:9 "Persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." NIV

Point to ponder on: Your down time is not your end, with God, it's a new dawn for your uprising.

I watched a boxing fight on the Youtube in which at the first round one of the guys was given an uppercut and fell to the ground but he quickly got up. Amazingly, after getting up he fought hard and beat his opponent black and blue that the guy couldn't get up. It was a knock out! How hard have you been beaten by life? Could it be disappointment, failure, stagnation, sickness, unemployment, curses, spiritual attack in any form, household wickedness, evil covenant, etc., you will not be destroyed in Jesus name. As that guy got up and defeated his opponent, the Lord will give you victory over every challenge in Jesus name.

Many appear well dressed in the society but deal with issues that make them cry in their secret places. There are some public figures/celebrities who on the outside things are going well with them but in the secret they are lonely and depressed. Some believers are already tired of praying because it seems God is too slow for them. They are anxious, confused and frustrated. There are people who when they get out of one problem they are entering another. Everywhere they turn to is bad luck. Beloved, you might have been hard pressed and spiritually terrorised and feels all alone but I want you to know that you are not alone. It might seem like the adversary is having an upper hand prevailing over that matter, be it your business, family, marriage, academics, relationships, ministry, and whatever it could be, and you are down and tired of struggling and fighting. Remember, "The LORD shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be defeated before your face: they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways."(Dt. 28:7) Whichever area you feel struck down you will not be defeated because Jehovah El-Gibbor (The Mighty God) is in Charge of your life. You are a winner and you will always win in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy a victorious weekend.
