Who Do You Look Up To?

MEDITATION

Who Do You Look Up To?

Hebrews 12:2 "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." NIV

Point to ponder on: Make Jesus your role model as you go through life challenges.

To overcome in any circumstance as a believer, it is wise to follow Jesus' method that earned Him the right hand of the throne of God. If we must win we must focus on Jesus and not the circumstance. In Christ Jesus victory is already accomplished. Therefore, for you to go through, activate victory and take your rightful place there will always be periods of endurance in your journey. A time of temptation and trial in life will always come. Sometimes, things don't work the way you planned and sometimes you may experience disappointment but your focus must be on Jesus by keeping in mind His word for the 'greater good' -the reward for those who patiently wait and endured to the end. When Jesus called Peter to come on the water and his gaze was on Jesus he could walk on water but the moment Peter started looking away from Jesus and started focusing on the situation around him, he began to sink.(Matt.14:29-30) That is exactly what happens to our faith when we begin to focus on circumstance instead of fixing our eyes on Jesus through the Word of God.

No matter the problem, you can overcome. Be patient, you will get that promotion, contract, pregnancy, approval, and whatever is your target or expectation according to His will. Just keep your mind at rest seeing through His Word and thinking of what Jesus would do as your role model if He were in your condition.

You will not compromise, you will not fail, you will not quit when you  are almost there, you will win in Jesus name.

I celebrate you.

Good morning. Enjoy His divine help.
