MEDITATION
1Peter 3:10 "For, whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech." NIV
Point to ponder on: Your words will shape your life, so watch what you say.
I am sure you want to see more good days and that God will make happen for you in Jesus name. However, there are things that are "must" for a believer who desires good days:
1. Keep your tongue from evil. Let your tongue speak blessing if you want to inherit blessing in this life. Regardless of what people speak against you, the scripture admonishes us to speak blessing in return so that we can inherit blessing. "Never return evil for evil or insult for insult (scolding, tongue-lashing, berating), but on the contrary blessing [praying for their welfare, happiness, and protection, and truly pitying and loving them]. For know that to this you have been called, that you may yourselves inherit a blessing [from God–that you may obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection]."1Pe.3:9 It's not sufficient to do good but you should recognize the power of positive words. Even when things are not working as expected, don't speak down on yourself but speak blessing.
2. Don't deceive people with your words. Be sincere with your words. Deception will only ruin your integrity and that money can't buy. Be straight with people and don't cut corners in business or relationships.
If you love your life, speak positively, speak blessing and don't deceive others.
I celebrate you.
Good morning. Enjoy a blissful day.
