MEDITATION
Keep the Rule
2 Timothy 2:5 "An athlete who runs in a race cannot win the prize unless he obeys the rule." GNB
Point to ponder on: Life responds to principles which are unchanging and they guarantee rewards when followed.
Everyday is a great day. Another week brings in another opportunity and presents to us chances to win or lose. But winning has a price to get the prize. Every winner is a keeper of the rule. The Universe is governed by laws. You may not like the laws but the laws don't respect man and anyone who will win must respect the laws of the universe and crack the code to emerge a winner. Beloved, whatever is working someone is working it out-whether you can see who is or power behind it or not, is inconsequential. Every winner must crack the code to win and that is keeping to the rule. Every employee, self employed, business owner and investor has rules of engagement which must be adhered to in order to remain productive and progressive. The general rule for all and sundry is to do the right thing at the right time to get the right result. A kingdom citizen on earth should obey kingdom principles in order to win. There is the person of Jesus and the principles of Jesus. If we want the result of the person of Jesus, we need the principles of Jesus. These principles are in the Holy Scriptures-our moral will.
If we must win as kingdom citizens this week, we must run like athletes and focus on our goals and not step out of our boundaries. We must mind our businesses, our goals and targets until we hit the mark. If we want God's result we must obey God's word. An athlete that runs out of his lane will lose his reward because he has broken the rule. Every action against the word of God is disobeying the rule. Grace thrives obeying the word. Every right channeled effort towards our goal is a price to earn the prize. The Lord will order our steps aright in Jesus name. Let's play the game in the way God will be pleased with our academics, business or career, ministry, marriage and relationships and we can be sure He will prove Himself faithful.
Good morning. Enjoy a favour filled week ahead.
I celebrate you.
David, Johnson
