Be Patient

MEDITATION

Be Patient

Hebrews 6:15 “As a result, after Abraham patiently waited for God to do what he promised, he obtained what God promised him.” T4T

Point to ponder on: If God said it He will do it, wait for it.

There is no need to be in a hurry over anything God has promised, since it is from the LORD it is certain that He will bring it to pass. Just hold on to His word because the one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it (1Thess.5:24-NIV).
Don't try to force anything to happen looking for the alternative because it is happening for other people around you. The fact that others are getting results now and you are not getting any doesn't mean God has rejected you or punishing you and that the delay in your life is an indication of not serving God as you should or because of sin in your life. However, if there is a need to examine yourself, allow the Holy Ghost to do the work of retrospection in you and submit to whatever He brings to light but don't condemn yourself because of the delay in God's promises over your life. And more so, don't allow self righteousness either to make you compare yourself with those that seem to be thriving and are not that committed as you are to the things of God, but trust God absolutely that He will do what He has promised at the right time for His glory.

More importantly, always encourage yourself with this scripture as you wait for the fulfilment of His promises: “ Since God always acts justly, he will not overlook all you have done for him. He will also not overlook your showing that you love him by the way you helped your fellow believers and by the way you still help them. Instead, God will reward you for doing good deeds.”(Heb.6:10-T4T)

Therefore, be expectant that the LORD will make it happen for you at the proper time and before that happens, this is what is expedient for you: “I do not want you to be lazy. Instead, I want you to imitate those who by their patience and continuing to trust in God are receiving what he promised them.”(Heb.6:12-T4T)

We are the one who consider lateness, Abraham waited for twenty-five years to receive the promise, he listened along the way to his wife to go the alternate route to get Ishmael but that was never the promise. God will be right on time just be patient. He will make that thing beautiful in its time.(Eccl.3:11) Just wait and be patient.

Good morning. Enjoy a fabulous day.

I celebrate you.
