God Is Turning That Little Into More Than Enough

MEDITATION

God Is Turning That Little Into More Than Enough

2Kings 4:42-44 "One day a man arrived from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God twenty loaves of fresh baked bread from the early harvest, along with a few apples from the orchard. Elisha said, "Pass it around to the people to eat." His servant said, "For a hundred men? There's not nearly enough!"Elisha said, "Just go ahead and do it. God says there's plenty." And sure enough, there was. He passed around what he had—they not only ate, but had leftovers. MSG

Point to ponder on: Obeying God's word in the midst of not enough guarantees supernatural provisions, abundance and satisfaction.

Does it look like what you have is not enough to execute the deal? Are you bothered that you have so many needs and fewer resources available? Are you the type who gets so robbed of your peace when money starts dwindling and certain things are pending which must answer to money? Relax and take a deep breath. Anxiety won't solve the problem and no matter the complaint it won't change it either. It is obvious you need help to get things done since it's beyond you. Thank God there is something in your hand and that is what God would use to get you what you desire. Our God is the God who turns little into more than enough: fed 5,000 people with two fishes and five loaves of bread (Matt. 14:17-20). What about the widow with little oil that her oil never ran out just at the word of the servant of God. Miraculously, the little out filled all the borrowed vessels, which she later sold to pay her husband's debt and took care of her children?(2Kgs. 4:2-7) Elisha fed one hundred men with twenty loaves of barley bread. How did that happen? He only followed God's word in the midst of not enough. He believed and acted on what God told him, "...They will eat and have some left over." (v.43-NIV) And indeed they ate and had left over. The most important thing over that issue is what God is saying concerning that resources and provisions? Don't bother how God will do it. Take a step of faith and you will experience the sufficiency of the God of more than enough. Ask God to bless and multiply that which is in your hand as you invest it in your set goals and anticipate His wonders.

Good morning. Enjoy His goodness.

I celebrate you.
