MEDITATION
Pass Your Battle To God
1 Kings 20:1-3 "Ben-Hadad, the king of Syria, gathered all his army, and he persuaded 32 other kings to join him with their armies and horses and chariots. They marched to Samaria city, the capital of Israel, and surrounded it, and prepared to attack it. Ben-Hadad sent messengers into the city to King Ahab, to say this to him: “This is what King Ben-Hadad says: ‘You must give to me all your silver and gold, your ◄good-looking/most beautiful wives/women and strongest children.’”T4T
Point to ponder on: When you are threatened by those who think they are stronger than you, report them to God who is all powerful.
Who is that person, force or power surrounding your life and threatening to take what belongs to you? They are even boasting and making demands, setting date to overtake everything you value. They are trouble makers set to molest and bring you down but their advancement will only lead to their destruction and great loss in Jesus name. Fear not! Don't be frightened by their armor, connection and those backing them up.
Be courageous! "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."(1Jn.4:4kjvlite) "One who puts on his armor should not boast like one who takes it off."(2Kgs.20:11b-NIV) You will surely strip them off their armor and they shall be disgraced.
They have mustered their armies against you for battle. But you know what, they are preparing for the beginning of their end. If they won't change their minds but set to attack and dispossess you of what God has giving to you. "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice."(Ps.68:1-3kjvlite)
What have they targeted to destroy? Every evil they have planned against your business, family, marriage, children, academics, projects, ministry, job shall become futile in Jesus name. " Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."(Ex.14:14-ASV) At the end of it all, the Lord will overpower them and inflict heavy losses on your adversaries. And your song shall be: "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.... For you have girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me have you subdued under me." (2 Sam.22:2-4,40-kjv2k)
Good morning. Enjoy His victory.
I celebrate you.
