Scriptural Sensibility In Choosing Friends(2)

MEDITATION

Scriptural Sensibility In Choosing Friends(2)

Proverbs 12:26 "A good man is like a guide to his friend. But bad people are like someone who has gone on to the wrong path." EasyEnglish

Point to ponder on: The people you allow into your life will either influence you positively or negatively.

1.It is expedient and wise to choose friends that can add value to your life and vice versa. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend" (Pro. 27:17-kjv2k).

2.If you want to make more friends be a giver. Giving attracts people to the giver. Although, this does not mean people will genuinely love you but you will have them as your fans and followers. "Many will entreat the favor of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that gives gifts" (Pro. 19:6-kjv2k).

3. The proof of a genuine or true friendship is love. This love remains through out all seasons of life. A true friend will always love you regardless of the challenges or circumstance in your life. He or she may not agree with you all the time; you may have misunderstanding but he or she stays in love with you through thick and thin. "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Pro.17:17-kjv2k).

Good morning. Enjoy His goodness.

I celebrated you.

David, Johnson
